Forschungsprojekte:Pursuing research as an Entomologist since 1989 in the Dept. of Zoology, M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara Gujarat India. Active research in the field of Biological control contributing towards Integrated Pest Management.
The research objectives are:
- To document the biodiversity of insects and spiders in the urban and agro ecosystems of Vadodara district.
- To examine the status of the insects as pest and also as bio control agents for controlling insect pests in the Agricultural fields of Vadodara district, Gujarat namely Cotton, Pigeon pea, Castor, Sugarcane, Paddy, Wheat, Castor etc.
- To increase the data base of ants from central India.
- Rearing and breeding of Oxyopes shweta a potential Bio-control agent in the laboratory conditions.
- Laboratory studies to know the impact of Agrochemicals on the social spider Stegodyphus sarsinorum.
- Minimise the use of highly toxic pesticides in the Agricultural fields of Gujarat, India and consequently the entire world

Wieso wurden Sie Ameisenforscher?:As an Entomologist it is my responsibility to give equal research information about all the insects. Since there is a void of information on Ants from Central India hence the need and interest to become myrmecologist
Kommentare: Every Research in the field of Entomology should reach the farmers of the country and benefit the society
