Forschungsinteressen:Ant taxonomy, Ecology, Biology and Behaviour
Forschungsgebiete:Western Ghats, South India
Forschungsprojekte:My main research interest is to carry out taxonomic studies on ants, especially the fauna at Western Ghats.
Another aspect of ants, which is of great interest to me, is their field biology. In particular, I am interested in ants belonging to the subfamily Ponerinae. I have been involved in studies on the behaviour and ecology of two species of queenless Ponerine ant, Diacamma, and looking at their geographic distribution within India.
Another major project is to study the insect species diversity of the Western Ghats.
