Nest formation by two queens of Oecophylla cf smaragdinus

We are proud to present pictures of a collective nest formation of two Oecophylla queens. The animals started their nest in a rolled-up leave held together by silk. The pictures were taken near the Beringgis Beach Resort by Dr. med. Andreas Freytag.
